Introduction:
This is where you'll find the brochure for the event. This brochure can be used for obtaining sponsors or just showing your mates where you're going. It is an overview of the event. More complete information about what to expect on the event is contained in the Entrants Pre-booking Guide.
We were going to put in some effusive quotes from some of the participants but we couldn't get them to stop telling us how great it was to get just a few comments (and space is limited!).
The picture below shows what can happen when you reach the end of the Tour (you'll find you have friends that you never had at the start of the Tour).

Event Information:
This is where you'll find all the documents, such as the Entrants Pre-Booking Guide to help you decide to come on the event. The Entrants Pre-booking Guide is the main document covering what happens on the event, what you need to do to secure your place on the event, how to choose & prepare a car and all those myriad questions you might have. It should be the second thing you read after the brochure.
Also included is an extract of the vehicle specifications to guide your aquisition or construction of a suitable vehicle that will survive the rigors of outback travel.

Newsletters:
This is where you'll find the first three newsletters for this year. These newsletters are sent out at regular intervals to keep entrants up to date with news about the event, social gatherings and other information. Your crewmembers will be grateful if you forward the newsletters on to them, so that they are also up-to-date with whats going on. After you enter the event all subsequent newsletters will be sent to you.
